Zhongdu District of Love River
The brick kiln factory led the development of this area during the Japanese rule, and formed a rich industrial settlement. Today's brick kiln factory focuses on the restoration of the historic site itself. The surrounding settlements have also been demolished, forming a blank area of the city. This design hopes to repair such gaps to connect the brick kiln factory with the love river.
Echoing the past's "healthy" urban imagination in the area, the introduction of an extreme sports and leisure center, combined with the past image of the plywood industry's wood storage pool, adding canoeing activities that can be intimate contact with the love river, the entire area with the "Parkour" The most free movement, as a whole concept and spatial concatenation, brings different vitality to the city.
And parkour can also be said to be the simplest (simple) sport, using the natural movement (extremities) of the club from an early age to reach our external world, instead of being protected or restricted by the world. By rethinking the relationship between people and the environment, the rhythm of personal "subversion" and the rhythm of "unification" of the city are linked.
